About The Filet Granny Square
A Filet Granny Square uses treble crochet stitches and chain spaces (US terms: double crochet and chains) to create an airy, lacy texture. It has the same construction as a classic granny square, but with alternating blocks and spaces that give it a modern, geometric look.
Ways to Use This Stitch

- Drapey garments such as shawls and wraps
- Delicate home decor, such as cushions
- Table runner or placemats
