With Easter just a few weeks away I wanted to share with you some of my Crochet Easter ideas including Easter baskets, wreaths, bunnies and hanging eggs. This year I wanted to add some crochet botanical decor to my home, reusing what I have, creating from my stash and repurposing natures treasures from my garden. Easter is a special time and a good excuse to add some crochet handmade goodness to our home.
First of all I have created a Crochet Easter Wreath, for this design I have repurposed an old Christmas wreath, reshaped it into an egg shape then filled it with my 2 new crochet botanical patterns, Crochet Little Leaves, Crochet Pussy Willow. I had some Easter Decor eggs in my stash which I have glued to the base then filled in the gaps with some natural sphagnum moss.
If you would like to see how I created my wreath, I have made a calming Youtube video below. In this video I will show you how I made my Crochet Easter Wreath.

Next I wanted to create a little decor for our Easter Table. I had an abandoned birds nest in our garden which would work perfectly for a little project. I carefully removed the nest from the tree, cleaned out all the little critters and added some botanical crochet. As the nest was so delicate, I first created a wire frame to attach my stems, then I decorated it with accent Daffodil flowers which are one of the flowers for Spring. Next I filled it with my 2 new crochet botanical patterns, Crochet Little Leaves, Crochet Pussy Willow, finally to fill the gaps I added some natural sphagnum moss to hide the wires.
If you would like to see how I created my nest, I have made a calming Youtube video below. In this video I will show you how I made my Crochet Easter Wreath.
