About This Granny Square

The Block Stitch Granny Square is based on the traditional granny square construction, but inbetween the clusters you’ll be adding a colour change using the double crochet (US treble).

You can use as many colours as you wish in the colour changes, so it’s a great square for experimenting with colour, as each ā€œblock rowā€ can be a different shade. A dream for using up leftover yarn or creating a rainbow gradient, bright bold blocks or using a varigated yarn. This granny square is really versatile and has so much potential!
