Today I will show you how to crochet tulip flowers in my easy step by step tutorial. Tulip flowers are the second birth flower for April with the first being Daisy Flower. Tulips come in a huge array of colours and variations therefore you can make your crochet tulip flowers in nearly any yarn colour. Tulips represent, love, happiness, affection, rebirth and charity. To give one tulip flower is believed to bring bad luck so make your you make yours into a little bunch.
The first birth flower for April is the Daisy flower. These beautiful little dainty wild flowers symbolize innocence, purity, and new beginnings. If you would like to make my Daisy Crochet Birth Flower click HERE.
This is a easy crochet flower pattern to create, which you can make with nearly any yarn you have in your stash. Make your flowers in a collection of vibrant pinks to add some Spring colour or in zesty oranges alternatively you could make your crochet tulips in classic red. You can make your flower with any yarn and matching sized crochet hook (although you do want to keep your stitches tight, so use the smallest crochet hook you can for your sized yarn). Depending on the size of yarn, you use will increase or decrease your sized flower, but I can promise they will all be beautiful. To create a little bouquet as I have you will need to make between 8 flowers, I have made a collection of 4 baby pink and 4 bold pinks to fill my vase.
My free pattern includes the step by step tutorial to crochet the flower ONLY. If your would like to support me to continue creating FREE PATTERNS, you can purchase the full PDF pattern including Flower and Leaf tutorial in my Webshop or in my Etsy for only $1.99.
