5 Ways to Use a Crochet Shamrock
1. Crochet Shamrock Straw Toppers
Create a little fun for your drinks by creating shamrock straw toppers. You can attach them to a straw using thin craft wire or secure them with string or twine. I’ve attached mine to two gold eco-metal straws using thin craft wire.
2. Crochet Shamrock Gift Tag
Send someone a little luck by attaching a crochet shamrock to a gift tag. Perfect to use when you want to wish someone good luck. Whether you pop this in the post as it is or attach it to a gift to let someone know you’re thinking of them. I’ve attached my crochet shamrock to a brown luggage tag and created the good luck writing using my Cricut.
3. Shamrock Brooch
Who doesn’t love a fun crochet brooch? Add your crochet shamrock to a pin of your choice. You have a few options: sew a safety pin onto the back of your shamrock, glue a brooch fixture to the back using a hot glue gun or slide the pin through the shamrock and directly through your clothing to hold it in place. These crochet brooches are so quick and easy to make.
4. Crochet Shamrock Bunting
I have attached these shamrocks to Paintbox recycled metallic ribbon in gold with fabric glue. Alternatively, you can attach them with a crocheted chain, i-cord, Romanian cord or glue them directly onto your chosen ribbon or twine using fabric glue or a hot glue gun.
5. Home Decor
Get creative and crochet these mini shamrocks in different shades of green to scatter around your home. These cute little motifs make great table decorations and they would also make a lovely wreath!
